JOB PURPOSE:

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Integration Architect to join our dynamic team. The role is part of the Enterprise Architecture team.

The newly created Ice Cream Technology function will drive the technology set-up, standalone design and implementation of all required technology capabilities to enable Unilever’s Ice Cream business to become a fully functioning standalone company, separate from Unilever.

The IT Integration Architect is responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions that connect various IT systems, applications, and services within an organization. This role ensures seamless data flow and communication between disparate systems, enhancing overall efficiency and enabling better decision-making. The IT Integration Architect collaborates with stakeholders to understand integration needs and provides technical leadership to ensure successful implementation.

The successful candidate will be one that has significant IT expertise with a proven record of leading large-scale transformations and has a passion for building world class IT standards, environments and E2E tech architecture that make a meaningful impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Integration Design: Develop and maintain integration architecture blueprints, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements and remain scalable for the future.
2. Implementation: Lead the implementation of integration solutions, including the integration of new technologies and services.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, operations, and business teams, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
4. Data Management: Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems, implementing data governance and quality standards.
5. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration designs and implementations.
7. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, promoting best practices and standards.
8. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT integration architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale integration solutions.
3. Technical Skills:
   • Proficiency in integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel.
   • Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and microservices architecture.
   • Experience with middleware technologies and enterprise service buses (ESBs).
   • Knowledge of data formats and protocols such as XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
   • Familiarity with cloud integration and hybrid integration scenarios.
4. Soft Skills:
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
   • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
   • Leadership and mentoring skills.
5. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Dell Boomi Professional Developer, etc.
