At Overwatch, it’s more than a job - it’s a purpose.Position OverviewAs a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role within the Overwatch EMEA delivery team, supporting the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects across Spain.Acting as an on-site representative of the owner, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. Working closely with the Head of Construction and wider owner, design, and contractor teams, you will drive schedule certainty, cost control, quality assurance, and risk management across fast-paced capital programs.ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end project delivery for mission-critical data center developments, from early works through commissioning and handoverManage day-to-day coordination between design, engineering, construction, utilities, and commissioning stakeholdersLead pre-construction activities including scope validation, constructability reviews, logistics planning, and site mobilisationManage project schedules, progress tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with overall program milestonesSupport procurement and contracting strategies, including EPC/GC and multi-package delivery modelsOversee contractor performance across safety, quality, cost, and schedule metricsAssist with development and management of project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and change control processesIdentify project risks and constraints, supporting mitigation planning and issue resolutionConduct regular site presence to validate construction progress, safety compliance, and quality standardsMaintain clear and consistent communication with client stakeholders and internal leadershipSupport commissioning readiness, operational handover, and close-out documentationEnsure compliance with HSE, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements at all timesQualificationsProven experience delivering complex construction projects, preferably within mission-critical or data center environmentsSolid understanding of data center construction methodologies, MEP systems, and commissioning processesExperience working with EPC/GC contractors, OFCI equipment, and utility coordinationStrong project scheduling, tracking, and reporting skills (P6 or equivalent)Demonstrated experience in cost control, forecasting, and change managementAbility to operate effectively in an owner-side or consultancy-led delivery roleProfessional fluency in Spanish and EnglishStrong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in high-pressure environmentsKnow Someone Who’d Be a Great Fit?If you're a current Overwatch EMEA employee and want to refer top talent to help us grow, submit your referral through our internal referral program.Let’s build the future together.OVERWATCH EMEA is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
