The list reflects the principal applications, and I also include complementary technologies typically associated with this type of landscape:Web Server / ASP Classic / .NET Applications WC (Web Server) – IIS, ASP Classic, .NET, SQL Server, Windows Server administration, Web.config management, authentication and authorization models. GL (Web Server) – ASP Classic, .NET components, IIS modules, SQL Server, encryption libraries, error handling. AG (SharePoint Server) – SharePoint 2016/2019 Server, IIS, Windows File System, Timer Jobs, server–side scripting.SharePoint Online Landscape PC2 (SharePoint Online) – SharePoint Online, Power Automate, SPFx, REST Microsoft Graph, Azure AD. PC5 (SharePoint Online) – SharePoint Online, DLP policies, ALM. GD=SB (SharePoint Online) – structured repositories.Power BI / Access / Office / Azure Services BU (Power BI) – Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, DAX, M language, gateways, incremental refresh, SQL Server, SharePoint as data source, Git versioning for PBIX.Complementary Technologies to be considered SQL Server Reporting Services Azure AD / Entra ID Git / Azure DevOps Repos Power Automate Cloud & On-Prem Gateways SharePoint Framework (SPFx / SPFx Online / SPFx Server hybrid) Systems interoperability betweenIIS – ASP Classic – .NET – SharePoint – Power BI – Azure Cognitive Services Enterprise logging, monitoring and secure file upload components.Key Capability RequiredIt is important that the candidate hasdemonstrable experience in: Managing change and deployment acrossdifferent environments(Development → CERT → Production). Continuous integration and use ofversion control systems with Git , repositories and branching strategies. Change management betweenlegacy and modern Microsoft stacks , ensuring quality and compliance without disrupting business operations. Enterprise ALM processes, disciplined releases and validation cycles.Responsibilities Overview Analyse, design and validate fixes for ASP Classic, .NET and SharePoint (Online & Server) systems. Ensure integrations with Power BI and Azure Cognitive Search. Coordinate interoperability on IIS and SQL Server. Support secure file upload and historical audit scripts.
