Job Description
- Oversee and manage all operations and matters related to the Finance department.
- Develop and manage key relationships with respective division heads and senior managers to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor budgetary and key performance indicator movements.
- Ensure to liaise with the company auditors and regulators.
- Responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the organization.
- Ensure effective implementation of all Materials Policies & Procedures following local legislation, whilst maintaining Accor Standards in Materials Management.
- Lead in the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques that will enable the divisions at the hotel to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies.
- Promote, drive and maximize the GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept at the hotel.
- Manage the development of accounting admissions, credit/collections, and internal control policies.
- Ensure all statutory compliances, permissions, and licenses are in place and renewed in time.
- Supervise the functioning of the Procurement department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting leadership, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree a plus.
