The Operations Manager is responsible for increasing the profitability of the department by optimizing the delivery of solutions to the client, with the best service. S/he ensures the maintenance of existing and new clients by guaranteeing the quality of service and complying with SOPs (AEO) while managing his/her team.Contribute to the economic performance and optimize growth and results for his / her area of responsibilities: Lead and animate optimization of profit margin per file by conducting an optimized purchase policy: air freight, sea freight, customs brokerage, local transportation, logistics services, etc. Help provide quotations to the network, resolve customer complaints and liaise between suppliers and clients. Manage insurance claims with the legal department. Supervise the data introduction in the system and ensure data integrity and the exclusive and full use of the software by operations agents. Contribute to the improvement of the products and be an active support to the sales department actions, providing them with technical advice and an adequate selection of suppliers (airlines, shipping lines, truckers, value added services providers, overseas agents), in collaboration with the IT department of the Group (France). MANAGEMENTEnsure detailed review of the operations team’s performance on a weekly, monthly and/or quarterly basis and recommend actions. Appraise employees’ performance; Lead the search, recruitment and induction processes of new operations agents together with HR. Strong level of English (written and spoken) + French would be a plus. Excellent command of IT tools especially MS Office Apply and take part in a tailor-made recruitment process, during which you will meet your future manager, the recruitment department, and your n+2.
