We are looking for aSenior Database Administrator (MS SQL DBA)to join our team for amultinational leader in the technology/telecommunications sector, working in a European, high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities: Administration and production support ofMS SQL Server databases. Proactivemonitoring and capacity management. Backup, recovery andperformance analysis. Database tuning and optimization. Automation of repetitive tasks and reporting using PowerShell. Design and deployment ofnew database and server architectures. Ad-hoc technical consultancy for application teams. Incident resolution and service request management. Participation inchange management processes following ITIL methodology. Contribution to maintaininghigh availability environments. Collaboration with technical colleagues to improve service stability and performance. Participation in on-call rotations and shift-based support. Skills: Essential: Minimum5 years of experienceadministeringSQL Server (2008R2–2019). Strong experience inhigh availability environments. AdvancedT-SQLknowledge. Experience withPowerShell automation. Experience withETL processes and database migrations, with exposure toBigQueryvalued. Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work under pressure in critical environments. Advanced English level (C1). Desirable: ITIL Foundation certification.
