We are seeking a seasoned Technical Team Lead to manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team comprising Frontend, Backend, DevOps, and Design professionals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a successful history in software development. Key responsibilities include driving team performance, managing project timelines, proposing and prioritising backlog tasks for future sprints, maintaining high code quality standards, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure technical initiatives align seamlessly with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineersPropose, prioritise and manage backlog tasks for future sprintsOversee the development, testing, and implementation of software projectsEnsure the quality, efficiency and scalability of the codebaseCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality productsDrive continuous improvement in engineering practices and processesDevelop new features and maintain current production deploymentsStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep systems modern and efficientQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field7+ years of software development experience3+ years in a leadership roleExpertise in multiple programming languages, with a strong emphasis on PythonExperience with modern development frameworks and toolsExperience in cloud computing, specifically with the AWS ecosystemStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitudeExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts with non-technical stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal English communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentNice to have: experience with Data Platforms, ETLs, and Data ScienceNice to have: experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)Location:This role can be based in Spain or Portugal.
