Injection molding shift leader

We're partnering with a leading manufacturer of industrial plastic parts and components to find an experienced Shift Leader for their injection molding operations. Your Mission Lead and inspire a high-performing team in the injection area, ensuring production goals are met in quality, quantity, and timing. You'll be the go-to leader during your shift—driving operational excellence, machine performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards. Your leadership will foster productivity, continuous improvement, and a safe, collaborative environment. What You'll Do Team LeadershipSupervise and guide operators and technicians during the shift. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide real-time feedback. Resolve issues promptly and promote teamwork.Production ExcellenceEnsure production targets are achieved. Review and adjust priorities based on the production plan. Coordinate with technical teams for optimal machine performance. Prepare shift reports and share insights for improvement.Process & Quality ControlMonitor injection machine performance and adherence to procedures. Detect and address operational or quality issues. Oversee inspections and implement corrective actions when needed.Safety FirstEnforce safety standards and proper PPE usage. Respond to incidents and report promptly.What We're Looking ForExperience: 3–5 years in industrial environments (plastic injection preferred), plus experience in a supervisory role. Technical Knowledge: Health, Safety & Environment protocols; MS Office proficiency. Education: Technical or university degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Plastics/Polymer, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience). Languages: Spanish (fluent), English (B2/C1).
