Location:Se anima a todos los posibles solicitantes a que se desplacen y lean la descripción completa del puesto antes de presentar su candidatura.MadridProject Type:Data Centre ConstructionIdeally M&E Estimator but will consider CSA applicants.Spanish Speaker is a major benefitKey responsibilities:Prepare, compile, and submit tenders within required deadlines, ensuring all pre-project information is accurately sourced and coordinated.Produce timely, accurate, competitive, and commercially viable estimates from initial enquiry to final bid submission.Lead negotiations with clients during tender and post-tender stages, ensuring clear communication of value, scope, and assumptions.Analyse subcontractor and vendor quotations, verifying inclusions, exclusions, commercial alignment, and contractual compliance.Attend client meetings, deliver presentations, and represent the estimating function professionally in all bid-related discussions.Support and collaborate with the wider estimating team—sharing knowledge, benchmarking costs, and contributing to estimating process improvements.Participate in tender review meetings, bid clarification sessions, and follow-up actions as required.Track and follow up on submitted tenders to gather feedback and maintain visibility on commercial opportunities.Maintain structured documentation and ensure estimating files remain clear, accurate, and audit-ready.Undertake any additional related tasks as requested by management in support of team objectives.Qualifications & Experience:Previous estimating or commercial experience within the construction sector.Trade qualification or degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering) preferred.Experience leading or mentoring team members within an estimating environment.Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret technical data and evaluate complex project cost structures.Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders during negotiations. xcskxlj Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced bid environment.
