Role Overview HR Partner, Builder Experience Team (BeXT) – 9‑month fixed‑term contract focusing on the Builder experience at Amazon Web Services (AWS).Key ResponsibilitiesConsult, coach, and develop leadership through decision making with empathy and sound judgment.Collaborate on talent management processes, people development, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.Foster an inclusive environment for all Builders.Advocate for Builders’ needs through end‑to‑end experiences that help Builders feel fully engaged and valued.Serve as first point of escalation for Builder concerns, exercising high judgment and managing ambiguity.Support Builder queries with discretion, navigating Amazon policies.Promote adoption of technology and self‑service.Influence multiple levels of the organization, from Builders to senior leaders.Conduct difficult workplace investigations in collaboration with Builder Relations.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field.5+ years of relevant Human Resources Generalist experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a matrixed organization.Coaching and consulting skills.Strong HR acumen, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and analysis.Employee Relations/Investigations experience.Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities in a high‑pressure, ambiguous environment.Intellectual curiosity and the drive to bring insight to team and business.High judgment, empathy, autonomy, and flexibility.Strict confidentiality regarding employee issues.Experience with employee representative bodies (ERB).Equal Opportunity Statement Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer.
