Their technology powers more seamless, safe and sustainable air travel. They are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join on a contract basis for an initial 12 months with a view to extend or potentially convert to a permanent position.About the Role As a Telecom Network Deployment Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of network deployment projects—from early solution design coordination, through delivery and operational integration, to pilot site deployment and full-scale rollout.You will work with engineering, operations, product, delivery partners, and customer teams to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget deployment of telecom solutions.To succeed in this role, you are a strong communicator, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating technical teams and external stakeholders. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and bring a structured, delivery-focused mindset to every phase of the deployment lifecycle.Key Duties • Lead telecom network deployment projects across all phases: solution design, planning, delivery, pilot deployment, full rollout, operational readiness, and handover. • Coordinate with engineering, solution architects, operations, and vendors to define technical requirements and validate design options. • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and resource needs. • Oversee delivery of the technical solution, including integration, testing, and operational processes. • Plan and execute pilot site deployments, collect feedback, resolve issues, and refine the deployment approach before scaling. • Manage large-scale rollout plans, ensuring sites are delivered on schedule and in accordance with quality and technical standards. • Monitor project progress, identify blockers, and drive timely resolution with relevant teams. • Manage project governance including reporting, Steering committees, stakeholder engagement & communication, and risk mitigation. • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure readiness for service activation, monitoring, and ongoing support. • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with telecom standards, operational requirements, and deployment best practices.What we are looking for Required Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, engineering, IT, or equivalent experience. • 3+ years of project management experience in telecom, network deployment, or infrastructure rollout projects. • Strong understanding of telecom networks (IP, RF, radio, connectivity, routers/switches, circuits, site integration). • Experience coordinating technical solution design with engineering and architecture teams. • Proven track record managing pilot deployments and scaling from pilot to full rollout. • Solid understanding of operations readiness, activation processes, and support models. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage technical teams, vendors, customers, and executives. • Experience managing multiple deployment sites in parallel. • Ability to work with cross-functional global teams and manage external deployment partners. • Fluent English.Nice to have: • Experience with aviation, ATC, VHF, satellite, or mobility network projects. • PMP or similar project management certification. • Experience in large-scale multi-site infrastructure rollouts.
