The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivatedPower Electronics Modelling & Simulation Expertto join our Product Innovation & Development team. You will contribute to the design, simulation, validation, and commissioning of advanced power conversion systems for renewable energy and energy storage applications, working in a collaborative, international environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full product development lifecycle, from concept and modelling through to laboratory validation and certification. How You’ll Make an Impact Design, model, and simulate power electronics converters and control systems (AC/DC, DC/DC) using tools such asSpice, PSCAD, Simulink, and PLECS . Support theselection, qualification, and verificationof semiconductors, passive components, and protection devices. Contribute to fast, iterative development cycles through prototyping, laboratory testing, and commissioning activities. Build and maintain laboratory test setups to verify theperformance, efficiency, and robustnessof power conversion systems. Analyse logs, signals, and test results, generatingclear and structured technical reports . Supportvalidation, qualification, and product certificationactivities in laboratory, factory, and field environments. Your Background BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field(minimum requirement). Proven experience inpower electronics design , including converters, control strategies, and system-level integration. Strong experience withmodelling and simulation tools(Spice, PSCAD, Simulink, PLECS). Solid knowledge ofpower converters and conversion topologies(AC/DC, DC/DC). Experience withlaboratory instrumentation, prototype testing, and commissioningis valued. Fluency inspoken and written Englishis required; additional experience in PV and energy storage systems is a plus.
