We are looking for a Head of Cloud that will take full responsibility for defining and implementing Ferrovial’s Cloud Strategy.As a Head of Technology, you will combine strong technical expertise with the ability to influence, communicate, and build relationships across the business. Your mission is to ensure continuous value delivery through secure, high‑quality, and scalable cloud capabilities that align with Ferrovial’s long‑term vision.In this role, you will set cloud operating and technical models, define core services, and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams. You will lead a team of architects and engineers, championing best practices, continuous improvement, and productivity while adopting the most efficient tools and platforms.Key responsibilitiesReporting to the CTO of Ferrovial, you will be in charge of defining and coordinating cloud strategy as a source of value for the company.Ensure the cloud team progresses effectively and contributes to enterprise‑level outcomes.Work closely with business functions to leverage digital technologies and the creation of innovative digital products and services.Understand business goals and priorities, maintaining a broad view of how the organization operates.Build strong relationships across all levels of the company.Own the cloud services roadmap, integrating technical evolution with business needs.Set the vision for your domain and translate it into a strategic roadmap executed by the cloud team.Lead and develop a high‑performance technical team.Establish standards and technical operations to deliver consistent, high-quality cloud services with a strong focus on automation.Implement cloud management strategies to achieve world‑class productivity and cost efficiency.Engage and align talent through strong recruitment, mentoring, hands‑on architectural leadership and career management.Foster a strong, collaborative ecosystem across Ferrovial.QualificationsSenior technology leadership experience (this is not a first‑time management role).Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar).10+ years of experience in cloud environments.Proven experience designing and executing Cloud Strategy in large organizations.Strong track record building high‑performance teams and scalable best practices.Solid understanding of technologies, architectures, and processes used by development teams.Ability to make enterprise‑wide recommendations to advance the digital strategy.Experience working with integrations and strategic partners.Strong conflict‑management and organizational skills.Strategic mindset with business acumen.Experience leading teams and managing career development and performance.Valuable: experience in construction, infrastructure, or mobility sectors.Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.Essential: bilingual / very high level English and Spanish.Expected to reflect and uphold leadership values in daily actions and strategic decisions in always safe, lead for growth, empower & entrust, uphold principles, strategic foresight, purpose driven, results focused.Seize the challenge.
