Beyond managing payroll, compliance, and taxes, we integrate financial tools to maximize the value of every work payment, worldwide.Lea atentamente toda la información sobre esta oportunidad y luego utilice el botón de solicitud de abajo para enviar su CV y su candidatura.We are expanding our global team and looking forSenior Legal Associateto bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.Would you like to take on a new challenge in the field ofLegalin a successful, fast-growing global start-up?Location:RemoteSalary Range:FlexibleResponsibilities:Own the drafting, negotiation, and execution of employment agreements, commercial contracts, and policy documents to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance.Lead the legal review of complex employee cases, including performance issues, terminations, disputes, and cross-border escalations.Drive compliance strategy by monitoring regulatory changes and proactively recommending adjustments to internal operations and client processes.Advise senior leadership on legal risk, exposure, and mitigation plans for both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.Manage relationships with external counsel, ensuring cost-efficient and aligned legal support for global matters.Develop and enforce internal legal frameworks, including templates, playbooks, and compliance guidelines that support scalable operations.Support global expansion efforts by conducting legal feasibility assessments for new jurisdictions and shaping the market-entry strategy.Provide training and guidance to internal teams (HR, Operations, Compliance, Sales) to strengthen legal knowledge across the organization.Lead or support high-impact internal projects focused on process improvement and operational excellence.Requirements:Law degree and active bar admission in at least one relevant jurisdiction; additional qualifications (LL.M, cross-border certifications) are a plus.5+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law, labor law, or commercial law, ideally within a global, high-volume, or rapidly scaling environment.Deep expertise in international employment regulations, including hiring, onboarding, contracts, compensation structures, employee relations, and termination procedures.Proven experience advising on multi-jurisdictional compliance and navigating cross-border legal frameworks.Strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex employment agreements, commercial contracts, and policy documents.Demonstrated ability to independently handle high-risk employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, disputes, and litigation support.Experience working with or advising EOR, PEO, HR-tech, SaaS, or global mobility organizations (strong advantage).Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess legal risk and propose pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, high-workload environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and sound judgment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal topics in a clear and accessible way to non-legal audiences.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.High level of resilience, accountability, and ethical integrity, with a strong alignment to company and team values.Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.Benefits:Dynamic and interesting work in an early-stage, funded startup.Ability to influence the next stages of our growth.Flexible work environment.Competitive salary.Experience working in the ever-changing world of fintech.Opportunities for professional and personal growth.Additional employee benefits.Join our team at Native Teams, a fast-growing global start-up.
