Running and managing numerical simulations in Linux and HPC environmentsAnalysis, validation and comparison of model results using PythonProven experience working with Linux and HPC environments~ Programming experience in C++ and/or Fortran for scientific applications~ Regular use of Python for data analysis and post-processing~ compilation, configuration and execution)~ Professional working proficiency in EnglishExperience using GitHub for collaborative developmentExperience with other meteorological or CFD modelsKnowledge of Catalan3-year contract~ Position based in Barcelona, with a hybrid working model (approx. 50% remote)~33 days of holiday per year~ Technically challenging projects in an industrial environmentVortex f.d.c. is a Barcelona-based company specialised in wind and atmospheric modelling for the renewable energy sector.
