On a day-to-day basis, you’ll work closely with the Director, Technical Optimization to define and execute on strategies within a fast paced and agile environment.Responsibilities:Establish relationships with the technical teams and stakeholders at leading travel agencies, suppliers, and platforms globally who are connected to the Hotel Trader network.Analyze technical performance daily, weekly, and monthly to find gaps and opportunities with partners. This includes ARI delivery & processing, API search traffic, errors, failures, API enhancements, response times, meta-data, and other tech/data related issues.Provide strategic advice to partners and help them maximize ROI in the Hotel Trader network by working in a consultative technical role, which will require in-depth reviews of network business intelligence, audit logs, technical performance insights, and guiding partners on how to best utilize new features launched on the platform.Respond to technical questions and requests from partners with the goal of fully automating baseline technical support for the network.Create BI dashboards and custom reports for partners to track technical performance.Work with senior leaders across Hotel Trader to identify successful strategies and tactics as well as developing monthly & quarterly business plans to achieve KPIs.Implement creative ways to improve engagement and technical performance with partners through automation within Hotel Trader tools and partner facing modules.Collaborate with Hotel Trader leadership to share customer insights and recommend new and innovative technical solutions based on travel agency and platform partner feedback.Attend industry events, conferences, and meet travel agency partners in their HQ offices to align on strategic initiatives for long-term sustainable growth.Liaison with company stakeholders across business verticals including team members in Development, Supply, Demand, Product, Finance, Customer Support, and Operations.Be a daily example of Hotel Trader core values and commitment to culture.Knowledge and Experience:The ideal candidate will have:Experience in Technical API Optimization within the software industry (experience in Travel and Tourism is a significant plus).A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.Solid understanding of technical optimization across API suites, platform technology, and SaaS type products.Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with data warehousing, data visualization, Postman or other API testing/dev tools, MySQL, and GraphQL.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
