You will get the opportunity to join a fast-scaling startup as one of the first employees and significantlyshape the future of the company and the insurance industry .Your Impact AsUX/UI Designer at Afori , you will own the end-to-end user experience for our AI-powered product that simplify's the brokers every day work. You will turn complex processes, insurance context, and AI-driven automations into simple, elegant, intuitive user journeys. Your work will directly shape how thousands of insurance professionals experience AI in their daily workflows; from Outlook-based inbox workflows to deep operational processes and agentic task flows. This is a role for someone who loves transforming messy workflows into beautiful clarity and designing products that customers immediately understand and love.Key responsibilities User Experience Ownership : Lead the UX/UI across our core product, from research to design to launch. Interface Design : Create simple, beautiful, intuitive designs for complex insurance workflows (email classification, automation flows, task orchestration, document insights, etc.). User Research : Run interviews, shadow brokers, and test prototypes with real users to validate assumptions early and often. Design for AI : Craft interfaces that explain AI decisions, enable trust, and empower brokers to work seamlessly with agentic workflows. Rapid Prototyping : Develop prototypes (low- and high-fidelity) to test ideas quickly with customers and engineering. Design System Creation : Build and maintain our first design system to ensure consistency, simplicity, and speed.
