It delivers highly advanced HVAC passenger solutions for health and comfort as well as HVAC environment and energy solutions for a green future.We are currently looking to add aMechanical Design Engineerto our team, based in Madrid.About the Role:Development of design solutions that comply with project specifications.Ensure compliance with deadlines and project costs assigned.Employ solutions and propose improvements to the project.Preparation and control of project documentation using the current PLM and according to department standards.Liaison with departments and suppliers to understand manufacturing processes and optimize designs.Develop 3D designs integrating different components into the equipment structure, ensuring their functionality.Requirements :Academic or professional education in mechanical design, industrial engineering or similar.Knowledge of market products applicable to industrial designs.Knowledge of regulations applicable to the documentation generated in the department (drawings, LLMM, and ECNs).Ability to write and execute modification orders in accordance with internal procedures.Proficiency in using 3D and 2D CAD design tools.Knowledge of the concepts and implications of FEA and CFD studies to incorporate them into designs.Benefits :Permanent employment within the team.Opportunity for professional growth and development.Partial remote work options.Additional benefits.We appreciate your application and interest, we look forward to meeting your talent xcskxlj Merak stands for sustainable health & comfort in Rail HVAC all-round (world-wide, across all modes, and over the entire life-cycle), delivering advanced solutions and services with an attractive and competitive quality, cost, and delivery schedule.
