As a Solution Architect at TDC you will be part of a collaborative, tech‑driven team that delivers scalable, reliable solutions for core commercial insurance and accumulation management platforms. Your day‑to‑day will involve working closely with business analysts, product owners, and delivery teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions while leading architecture reviews and ensuring adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards.Solution Architect ResponsibilitiesDesign and evolve solution architectures for core Commercial Insurance and accumulation management platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and delivery teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards.Drive simplification and modernization of the application landscape, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and cloud‑readiness.Support the development of reusable architecture patterns and reference models across CI domains (e.g., Group Accumulation Management, Underwriting, Claims, Integration).Act as a technical advisor during vendor evaluations and solution assessments.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology with 5 or more years of experience.Proven track record of successful solution architecture projects, demonstrating expertise in designing and delivering scalable and reliable solutions.Strong understanding of insurance business processes, ideally in Commercial Insurance.Proven experience designing solutions in hybrid environments (on‑premise and cloud, especially Azure) with the current .NET stack (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core).Confidence with the Azure PaaS stack (AWS knowledge is a plus).Strong familiarity with integration patterns, microservices, APIs, and event‑driven architecture.Experience designing data‑centric solutions, including data modeling, data integration, and data governance; familiarity with Databricks and modern data architecture patterns is a plus.Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across business and IT.Fluent in English; German is a plus.Soft SkillsTeam player able to work in a collaborative and multi‑cultural environment with team members spread across multiple locations.Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels, including teams outside of shared services and solutions.Ability to discuss technical topics in business terms, including giving presentations to audiences with varying technological maturity.Act as a trusted advisor for customers by providing a holistic view of alternatives that deliver solutions.Innovative mindset, staying abreast of new trends and identifying opportunities to drive business benefit.BenefitsCompetitive salary and yearly bonus.Flexible working model to support work‑life balance.Option to work abroad up to 25 days yearly.€300 home‑office setup allowance and additional monthly home‑office allowance.Wide range of internal and external trainings, including English, German and Spanish classes.Ticket restaurant and Health Insurance with flexibility to exchange for other benefits.Life and accident insurance.Collective Life retirement Plan.€2,000 referral bonus for successful hires.Special banking and insurance conditions plus exclusive employee discounts.Functional diversity benefits, stock options and mortgage benefits.Location Barcelona, Poblenou.How to Apply Send your CV in English.
