R&D Product Enhacement Engineer

The opportunityAs an R&D Product Enhancement Engineer, you will play a key role in the continuous improvement, validation, and optimization of power electronics products throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and other internal stakeholders to enhance product performance, reliability, and compliance, while supporting validation, commissioning, and certification activities.This position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced and innovation-driven environment.How you’ll make an impactDesign, improve, and optimize power electronics systems, including power converters and their control systems.Perform product enhancement activities to improve performance, robustness, and reliability.Analyze, report, and follow up on bugs, incidents, and non-conformities identified during testing and validation phases.Manage incident resolution using available documentation, internal resources, and direct interaction with component and system suppliers.Support product validation activities, including laboratory testing, factory acceptance tests, and field validation.Execute commissioning and start-up activities of power conversion and control systems, including interfaces with energy storage systems, primarily in laboratory environments.Use and operate laboratory instrumentation and measurement equipment, as well as automated test benches and HIL systems.Prepare validation reports, test documentation, and technical evaluation reports for new and existing products.Maintain, update, and continuously improve product technical documentation.Support component qualification, product certifications, and homologation processes.Evaluate new products or technologies and generate assessment and recommendation reports.Act as a technical interface with internal departments such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Projects, and Quality, providing training, coordination, and product support.Your backgroundUniversity degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or similar).Solid experience in the design of electrical systems and power electronics converters, including their control.Knowledge of power electronics equipment design, including semiconductors, capacitors, inductive components, protections, and air/water cooling systems is highly valued.Experience in validation of electronic products and/or embedded software is a plus.Experience with laboratory test benches, test automation, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems is valued.Experience in commissioning and start-up of power converters and in the use of laboratory measurement and instrumentation equipment is a plus.Ability to work effectively both in teams and autonomously, managing priorities and objectives in a fast-paced environment.High level of English proficiency is needed (at least C1).Nice to have5 years or more of relevant experience in power electronics design, validation, and product enhancement.Previous experience acting as a technical interface and providing training, coordination, and product support to other departments (Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Projects, Quality, etc.).More about usYou will join a collaborative and technically driven organization where continuous improvement, innovation, and quality are key pillars.We offer challenging and meaningful work, opportunities to grow your technical expertise, and a dynamic environment that values teamwork, initiative, and diversity of thought.
