We are looking for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, reporting directly to our Motor Development Manager. As a member of DOGA's Motor Department, he/she will work in themechatronic design and development of DC Electric motors.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Definition, development, and product verification of new DC motor designs, according to the defined Strategy of the Company.
- Take into consideration the Customer or Market requirements, and the applicable regulations, prepare, with the support of other areas of the organization, the product technical specifications, and internal standards to be fulfilled.
- Collaborate and coordinate local and multinational teams, departments and subsidiaries of the Group, to support the full development of a new product from the concept phase, until the start of industrial production, fulfilling those specified targets for cost, quality and timing.
- Strong collaboration with the Sales Team to identify and develop new brush & brushless motor business opportunities.
- Direct contact with customers to identify their needs and provide technical guidance to promote the products of the company.
- Be up to date with the latest technologies applicable to DC electric motors, supporting the R+D teams for the development of future products and solutions. Attending proactively in Symposiums, Fairs, and other events of interest in this matter.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve product performances (Quality, Cost, Efficiency).
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Proficient in 2D-3D FEA Modelling for electrical machines (preferable Altair Flux Motor and Altair Flux).
- Proficient in analytical calculations and dimensioning of electrical machines.
- Experience with Permanent Magnet Machines (Superficial and Interior Permanent Magnets Machines).
• Experience in Motor Mechatronic designs, components manufacturing processes and their technologies, and ability to discuss with suppliers at the required technical level & specifications compliance.
• Valuable experience and familiarity with mechanical and thermal designs of electric motors.
•Should be familiar with quality tools and systems: IATF16949, ISO14001.
• Efficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point…)
• Availability to travel according to Project specific needs.
• High level of both oral and written Spanish and English.
