About the Role: We’re hiring anImport & Export Specialistto support Supply Chain operations across the cluster. In this role, you’ll apply your customs expertise to ensure regulatory compliance, streamline cross-border flows, and drive the implementation of global process standards. You will act as the primary contact for Spanish customs authorities, internal teams, and external brokers—enabling efficient, compliant international trade operations.What You Will Do Oversee daily import, export, and transit activities with full compliance and operational accuracy. Serve as the main point of contact for Spanish customs authorities, addressing queries and guiding stakeholders involved in cross-border operations. Manage operational interactions with customs brokers and third-party logistics providers. Identify opportunities to reduce customs duty exposure and lower operating costs through applicable customs regimes and procedures. Ensure compliance with local regulations and responsibilities defined in the Customs RACI. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across import/export processes and maintain up-to-date SOPs and work instructions. Monitor KPIs together with internal teams and external partners to ensure performance transparency. Streamline customs processes in alignment with business needs and operational priorities. Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and corrective actions to mitigate potential compliance or business continuity risks. Ensure accurate tariff classification for all imported/exported items and maintain a complete catalogue with technical documentation. Ensure end-to-end compliance with applicable Spanish and EU customs and foreign trade rules (including special regimes, trade agreements, duty relief, and valuation). Work effectively in an SAP environment, including handling customs-related financial entries and export benefit tracking where applicable.What We’re Looking For Advanced knowledge of import/export operations, gained through specialized education and hands-on professional experience. Minimum 4 years of operational experience in international trade, customs, or related fields. Strong understanding ofSpanish and EU customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance requirements. Project management experience and the ability to work collaboratively across regions. Experience working with SAP in a supply chain or customs environment. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Fluency in English (written and verbal). Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
