Introduction to Role
The Operational Excellence Engineer will ensure optimal operational efficiency at the lowest cost through the delivery of targets against the strategic objectives of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People. You will work with the Operational Excellence Manager and Factory General Manager to support the delivery of an agreed manufacturing vision and strategy through continuous improvement, ensuring optimum efficiencies, effectiveness, and profitability, initiating and implementing change as appropriate to meet the needs of the business.
Role Qualification and Skills
- Industrial Engineering degree or similar
- In-depth practical experience of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Standardized Work, Problem Solving, VSM, TPM, SMED, Kaizen.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt mandatory.
- Strong influencing, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a mindset of innovative thinking.
- Demonstrated teaching and coaching skills.
