📍 Madrid, Spain | 💲 €60,000 – €65,000 salary | 🧾 Permanent positionCategory Manager Our client, a growing international renewable-energy organisation, is seeking a Category Manager to join their procurement team in Madrid.The OpportunityYou will play a key role in the sourcing and supplier management of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), supporting the delivery of large-scale clean-energy projects. This is a strategic procurement position with strong exposure to engineering, commercial, and project-execution teams.Duties Include:Supporting purchasing and sourcing activities for energy-storage equipmentCoordinating bid/tender processes and evaluate supplier proposalsMaintaining relationships with key vendors and monitor ongoing performanceGathering market intelligence on pricing, technology trends, and supply-chain developmentsAssisting with commercial reviews and internal documentationCollaborating with engineering and project teams to align technical requirements with procurement needsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:A degree in Engineering or a related technical fieldEssential: experience working in the renewable-energy sectorBackground in procurement, sourcing, or category managementFluency in English; additional languages beneficialPlease apply online or contact James Feeney at Lumin People for a confidential discussion.
