We are currently looking for a Demand Planner for the Supply Chain Department, which is an exciting, newly created position.

Within our growing Sales Office Spain (Madrid), you will be responsible for driving the development of a multi-category business by leading our demand planning accuracy through deep control and management of our stock flows, from inbound production planning to sell-in sales to clients.

You will be active in the categories of Biscuits, Waffles (Bollería), Sweet Spreads, Ice Cream, and Bars, both in Retail and Away From Home.

Overall, the main focus is on our international flagship brand Lotus Biscoff, which is active in Biscuits, Sweet Spreads, and Ice Cream. Demand Planner (together with the Sales Manager Retail) focuses on delivering accuracy by cooperating and leading the IBP process. You will work closely with Marketing, Category, and Sales teams to project excellent sales planning in order to be more efficient and effective in our supply chain. Additionally, you will collaborate with the KAM team to develop timely and accurate forecasts for assigned accounts and revise them throughout the year.

You will be in charge of maintaining and creating new ways of reporting to extract key insights per business and clients to help improve accuracy, which drives logistics costs.

We are looking for a supply chain talent with proven experience in Demand Planning:

Key characteristics:

  1. Master's Degree (Marketing, Commercial, Economics, etc.).
  2. Fluent in Spanish and English.
  3. Solid knowledge of Excel, SAP, BI, and Statistics.
  4. High stress tolerance, able to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  5. Driving results (going the extra mile to get things done).
  6. Strong analytical skills and capacity to extract learnings and apply them.
  7. Capacity to lead the project IBP nationally, building an integrated process to work as a team.
  8. Competent in extracting key commercial business insights to achieve a great DPA.
  9. Understanding the quote “Retail = Detail,” meaning that excellent execution is key.
