Expert Manufacturing & EMEA Applications JoinMerck Groupas an Expert Manufacturing & EMEA Applications professional. This role drives IT projects and support for manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems across Europe.Responsibilities As a Solution Architect you will:Deliver IT projects for business applications in the Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Quality domain.Support site‑specific applications such as quality and shop floor systems in collaboration with local end‑users and stakeholders.Manage external delivery staff to ensure project support and business continuity according to service level agreements.Define technical designs for IT solutions together with other Solution Architects.Document all activities in projects and service management, creating qualification documents, work instructions, change requests, and vulnerability management records.As Qualification Owner, oversee compliance for GxP relevant systems in Spain and other European countries, including security aspects.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.1–5 years of experience as a delivery manager, ideally in manufacturing, supply chain or quality systems.Strong customer focus, self‑motivated, and ability to learn and develop continuously.Team player with experience working virtually in an international organization.In-depth knowledge of Quality & GxP IT/OT compliance trends for manufacturing & quality (e.g., LIMS, MES, LABs, SCADA).Broad IT infrastructure knowledge (OS, DB, system hardening).Excellent presentation and communication skills, solid foundation in IT service management methodology (ITIL certification preferred).Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English; business‑fluent French is a strong plus.What we offer Merck Group champions diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
