We are looking for an integration expert to support and further develop our integration capabilities. The integration expert will be part of the international integration team dealing with the creation of interfaces between various applications. Since the Hero Integration layer is mission critical, connecting various applications in the Hero ERP landscape, you will play a vital role in Hero's ability to operate. You will help build the integration architecture and interfaces using Hero's integration platform, Lobster Data.Your main responsibilities• Understand integration requirements and have in-depth technical knowledge of API Technology using SOAP or REST, JSON, Microsoft SQL server or equivalent databases. • Build integration architecture and interfaces using Hero's integration platform, Lobster Data. • Translate business requirementsinto technical solutions or concepts that are sustainable and easy to maintain. • Create and maintain interfaces between various applications. • Maintain an integration platform in a High Available environment (performing version upgrades, managing maintenance windows, etc.). • Create training material and transfer knowledge to key users and application experts.Skills and CompetenciesBackground:• Bachelor in IT or equivalent experience. • Proven track record in creating and maintaining interfaces between various applications. • Knowledge of modern database architectures (i.e., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle). • In-depth understanding of integration capabilities of SAP (i.e., iDocs, RFC, oData, CPI, table view). • Proficient knowledge of integration/communication standards like EDIFACT,AS2 protocols, SOAP / REST API. • Experience in maintaining an integration platform in a High Available environment (performing version upgrades, managing maintenance windows, etc.). • In-depth development skills (JSON / XML).Competences:• Good understanding of testing in a complex environment including test strategies and ability to execute a test approach. • Able to communicate in English at a professional level.Others:• Excellent analytical skills and able to translate business demand into technical concepts and designs. • Highly self-motivated and directed. • Team player, able to work in an international context and demonstrate a Can Do mentality.This position is based inMurcia,Spain.
