Miista is a dynamic and innovative company with operations in five countries: the UK, the US, France, Spain, and Portugal. We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, excellence, and professional growth. As we expand our international presence, we are seeking a dedicated and strategic HR Manager to oversee and develop our group HR functions. La siguiente información tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los posibles candidatos una mejor comprensión de los requisitos para este puesto. Role Overview The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning Miista’s global HR practices with its business goals. The successful candidate will lead recruitment, talent development, diversity initiatives, payroll management, and internal communication strategies across all subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Coordinate recruitment efforts across all subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with business needs. Manage job postings for current and future roles across multiple platforms. Develop initial candidate shortlists and coordinate interviews with the relevant hiring managers. Establish and maintain an efficient and inclusive recruitment process. 2. Global HR Policies and Talent Retention Design and implement global HR policies tailored to the needs of each subsidiary. Develop and execute innovative talent retention strategies to foster long-term employee engagement. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and recommend improvements. 3. Training and Development Implement and manage a comprehensive training program to enhance team capabilities. Promote continuous learning by identifying and addressing skill gaps across teams. Collaborate with department heads to align training programs with strategic goals. 4. Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across all subsidiaries. Develop policies to ensure equality of opportunities and eliminate biases. Provide ongoing support and resources to foster an inclusive work environment. 5. Payroll and Compliance Oversee payroll, bonuses, and commission reporting for all five subsidiaries. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in each country. Act as a point of contact for resolving payroll discrepancies. 6. Internal Communication and Process Visibility Develop and implement strategies to enhance internal communication across the organisation. Enhance the visibility of HR processes to ensure transparency and accessibility for employees. Act as a liaison between teams and leadership to address concerns and promote engagement. Additional Responsibilities Monitor global HR trends and integrate best practices into Miista’s strategy. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on HR metrics and progress. Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all HR-related matters. Travel at least once a year to the international subsidiaries and meet relevant local teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a multinational organisation. Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations across the UK, US, France, Spain, and Portugal. Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies. Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus. Proficiency in HR management tools and payroll systems. Our Position: The Opposite Thing Designed in London — Made in Spain — EU Sourced and Produced Miista upends the exclusionary practices of the fashion industry to show how we’re actually living now. Over the last ten years, we are proud to have built a brand that, through craft, our community, the risks we’ve taken and a sometimes bizarre willingness to laugh at ourselves, has made an elegant commitment to the alternative. A dedication to the opposite thing. What does that mean? That we’re happy to sacrifice profit and to subvert problematic fashion trends for women to create a product that has personality in addition to aesthetic value. A product that knows women don’t really shop using the search words ‘pretty’ now. If we were your friend, Miista would be the odd one at school who grew up and got an attitude and a sense of confidence. xcskxlj You know when it’s a Miista.
