On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.What we're needing?We are looking for a Solution Engineer with good commercial project management skills to support the sales team to designing innovate technical and commercial solution.What you’ll do on a typical day:Your main functions will be:To understand, interpret and respond to detailed technical specifications & documentation and to action the preparation of proposals for the supply chain division. To work with the sales team and customer prospect to ascertain the enquiry information necessary to produce sales proposals including quotation document. To submit a detailed response to the enquiry documentation and provide responses to any subsequent requests for clarification To respond to customer questions & requests in a timely and efficient manner. Define and evaluate KPIs/pricing compliance to track pricing performance and enable continuous improvements To handle incoming sales calls and maintain appropriate records. To support the Sales Team in negotiations with the customer and convert those opportunities into offers. To assist the team with further developing the costing process as part of the quotation process.What you need to succeed at GXO:Bachelor’s Degree (An engineering qualification would be advantageous but any technical or financial education with relevant experience will be considered). Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy consulting or background of tendering and proposal preparation. Strong analytical skills and financial modelling skills to help drive recommendations through to completion High aptitude to provide critical thinking and works well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to work across functions Proficiency in EnglishWhat do we offer you?Job stability and incorporation into an American multinational ranked number 10 in its sector.
