In ARQUIMEA SPACE develops spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers. We specialize in thermal control systems, structural panels, optical payloads, avionics, release and deployment mechanisms, and rad-hard microelectronics. Together with our tech partners we provide high-throughput smallsats and their subsystems. Our brand-new factory in Madrid is suited to integrate satellites and constellations.We are looking for a Project Manager with the mission to lead complex space projects from conception to successful execution, managing interdisciplinary teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and regulatory standards. Tasks to be performed: Coordinate, as main responsible, the complete life of space related projects assigned: planning, execution and closure. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget with the quality standards and procedures of the company. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and appropriate risk management. Coordinate project communications, managing the iteration with project stakeholders as subcontractors, partners and customers. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs. Report and escalate to management as needed. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Required skills, experience and candidate profile: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, specialization in Aerospace, or a related field. +3 years of experience as Project Manager, preferably in space, military or aerospace sector. Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMI methodologies). Previous experience in space projects desirable. Knowledge of aerospace quality standards desirable. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Proactive, autonomous and team player. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers Proficient in English. Eligible to work in the EU. Familiarity with industry standards and requirements related to satellite power systems (e.g., ECSS, NASA standards). Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required. The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.
