About MateractMateract is an AI-powered maths platform used by schools to support independent practice in A-Level and IGCSE maths—giving students personalised, tutor-like guidance while giving teachers full visibility into student reasoning.Students work naturally on a whiteboard-style interface (or upload handwritten work), receiving step-by-step feedback that focuses on how they think, not just the final answer. Teachers save time through automatic correction and clear insights into progress, misconceptions, and AI use.As we scale our presence across schools, we’re looking for a sharp, motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build pipeline, open conversations, and support our commercial growth.Like the sound of this? Start Something That Matters…As an SDR at Materact, you’ll be at the front line of our growth.You’ll be the first point of contact for schools discovering Materact, reaching out to maths teachers, heads of department, and school leaders, sparking interest, and opening the door to meaningful conversations.You’ll work closely with the founding team, learning fast, testing messaging, and helping us understand what resonates in different school contexts. This is a hands-on role where your work directly impacts pipeline, traction, and how fast we grow. What You’ll OwnOutbound outreach to schools (email, LinkedIn, calls)Booking and preparing meetings for foundersKeeping CRM data clean and up to dateRepresenting Materact professionally in early conversations with schoolsFeeding insights from schools back into sales and product discussionsRunning campaigns around conferences, pilots, and new markets Who We’re Looking For1–3 years of experience in sales, SDR, or customer-facing roles (B2B or education is a plus)Comfortable speaking with teachers and school leadersCurious, proactive, and happy working without heavy processStrong communication skillsMotivated by purpose and impactStartup mindset.
