SAP/QA Lead – Global S/4HANA Migration Project

It was founded in Paris but nowadays operates in more than 70 countries and has more than 65,000 employees.We are currently looking for a SAP and QA Lead to join a strategic S/4HANA migration project. They are about to start a major platform transition from SAP ECC, to later proceed to its implementation in the affiliates across Europe. This is a high-visibility role in a multinational environment, where you will lead the Quality Assurance strategy for one of the most critical SAP initiatives in the market.What will your responsibilities be?Global QA Strategy & Ownership- Define, implement, and maintain the end-to-end global QA strategy for the SAP S/4HANA migration. - Pivotal focuses on designing and implementing the Regression Test Strategy to guarantee zero disruption to existing business processes. - Lead testing planning and coordination across all integrated platforms, applications, and impacted global affiliates.Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment- Direct and mentor high-performing cross-functional testing teams (onshore/offshore). - Serve as the central coordination point for quality, aligning testing deliverables with all stakeholders including System Integrators, Business Process and Solution Owners (BPO /BSO), and Key Users across multiple global affiliates.Core Test Cycle Management- Own and coordinate the execution of all core testing phases: Integration Testing (IST), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E). - Guarantee effective, repeatable execution of all regression cycles. - Define best-practice QA methodologies and processes across the entire project lifecycle.Automation & Efficiency Drive- Lead the development and execution of advanced test automation strategies. - A primary objective is maximizing test automation coverage for the regression test suite, driving efficiency, repeatability, and faster time-to-market for changes.Risk Mitigation & Quality Governance- Define, monitor, and analyze critical QA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide strategic insight and proactively mitigate migration risks. - Own the testing exit strategy through Go-Live, ensuring rigorous defect tracking during UAT, E2E, and Cutover for a seamless transition.What are the requirements?- 6+ years of experience with deep knowledge of SAP ERP systems, including experience with S/4HANA and a strong understanding of the migration path. - Experience with S4HANA modules (S/4 FI SD MM, SAP Finance, SAP BI) and their integration. - Experience with SAP interfaces (IDocs/OData/Rest APIs) and UI technologies (Fiori). - Proficiency with Jira, X-Ray, Confluence. - Expertise in IST, UAT, and E2E testing, with a specific focus on Regression Testing strategies. - Fluent English. - Availability to travel to France. - Strategic leadership and exceptional communication skills.What do we offer?- Stable project with possibility of Permanent contract or Freelance (as preferred) - Hybrid work modality in Valencia city centre. - Work on a high-impact global program with cutting-edge SAP technology. - Collaborate with diverse teams across multiple countries. - Opportunity to influence quality standards in a major digital transformation.We are looking for profiles like yours, passionate about technology and eager to take on a new challenge.
