Mechanical Design Engineer – Airframe / UAV StructuresWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in airframe and UAV structural design to join our engineering team.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting lightweight aerospace structures from concept through production, with a strong understanding of structural integrity, materials, and manufacturing methods.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop airframe and UAV structural components and assemblies Produce detailed 3 D CAD models and engineering drawings Perform structural analysis and support testing activities Work closely with manufacturing, systems, and flight teams Support prototype build, integration, and design iteration Required Experience & Skills:Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience) Proven experience with airframe and/or UAV structures Strong CAD skills (e.g. CATIA, Solid Works, NX, or similar) Knowledge of aerospace materials (composites, aluminium, titanium, etc.) Understanding of structural analysis and design for manufacture Desirable:Experience with composite structures UAV certification or flight-test support experience FEA experience
