Responsibilities
  • Design a Network for new site and update network design of existing sites when needed.
  • Maintain and update end user access and permissions to Firewall and Domain Controller.
  • Assist IT Support to allow and configure network connectivity of computing devices.
  • Work in close cooperation with System Administrator and IT Supervisor to facilitate management of installing any software needed for each accounts/project.
  • Collaborate with System Administrator and IT Management in planning, installation, and documentation of network topology and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • Assist System Administrator with maintenance of PABX/VOIP phone system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment.
  • Install and configure software and hardware.
  • Manage LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Perform necessary tasks from the Director of Business Operations.
  • Set up security firewall for complete protection from viruses and unauthorized users.
  • Implement processes and ensure the security of servers and network infrastructure backups.
  • Ensure stable network connectivity throughout company LAN/WAN and monitor servers for performance issues.
Requirements
  • Must be a college graduate of Computer Science, IT or equivalent educational program.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as Network Administrator in a BPO Industry is REQUIRED.
  • Strong knowledge in Meraki Router and pfSense/Meraki Firewall is a MUST.
  • Knowledge in LAN/WAN networking such as maintenance and troubleshooting of Cisco routers.
  • Strong understanding and familiarity of TCP/IP and its suite of protocols, Cisco or equivalent router/firewall software/hardware configuration and operation of routing protocols.
  • Impressive interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Possesses high level of professionalism and initiative.
  • Ability to work with less supervision.
  • Preferably with Microsoft certification and Cisco certification but not required.
  • Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, extended hours, and on holidays.
  • Willing to work at OBPI both sites (Ortigas/Cubao/Alabang).
