Country Controller (Interim – 6 Months) Location:Remote in Spain (other locations considered) Reporting to:European Controller Scope:Spain & United KingdomThe Opportunity Working for a Fortune 500, you will drive real business impact across Spain and the UK while having a direct access to a broader European and global finance world-class organization.What You Will Do Own month-end close, reporting integrity, and close schedule for Spain and the UK. Lead local statutory and regulatory compliance across Spanish GAAP and UK GAAP. Coordinate tax data collection, including VAT, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Act as the key bridge between local operations and Shared Service Centers to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. Provide insights that support business decisions in a fast-evolving, transformation-focused environment.What You Bring Proven expertise inSpanish GAAP, UK GAAP (a plus), and US GAAP or IFRS . Hands-on experience withtax and VAT data collection . Strong background working withShared Service Centers . Demonstrated ownership ofmonthly close and reportingin complex environments.
