🔹 Opportunity: IT Product Owner – Drug Safety & Regulatory Systems📍 Based in: Barcelona, Spain🏢 Working Pattern: Hybrid (on-site & remote)⏳ Level: Mid–Senior (circa 5–8 years’ experience)🏭 Organisation: International pharmaceutical groupPosition SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned IT Product / Technical Owner to support a major Life Sciences initiative in Spain. This position centres on the technical stewardship of Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs platforms, with responsibility for application oversight, data structures, and compliance within a highly regulated (GxP) landscape.What You’ll Be DoingTake end-to-end technical responsibility for PV and/or Regulatory Affairs applicationsOversee application reliability, compliance, and performance in validated environmentsAnalyse, interpret, and troubleshoot complex data structures to support reporting and operationsCoordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT teams on system changes and integrationsOperate within structured service management frameworks (incident, change, problem management)Background & ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in IT roles within pharma or life sciencesAt least 3 years in a senior technical role (Product Owner, Application Owner, or Technical Lead) supporting PV or RA platformsPractical experience with one or more industry-standard systems, such as:Regulatory & Submissions PlatformsArisGlobal LifeSphere (RIMS)Veeva Vault RIMFreyr RIMSLorenz docuBridgeEnnov RIMRosetta ViewerDrug Safety & Signal DetectionOracle Argus SafetyEmpirica SignalTechnical CapabilityStrong Oracle database expertise (PL/SQL, triggers, DB links, schema design)Confident navigating and querying complex application data modelsExperience with APIs, system-to-system integrations, and hybrid or cloud-based setupsSound knowledge of validation, data integrity, and regulatory compliance (GxP)Familiarity with ITIL-aligned service delivery (ServiceNow exposure advantageous)Interested?If you’re Spain-based and open to a hybrid assignment in Barcelona, please get in touch or send across your CV for further discussion.
