At Plain Concepts, we are collaborating with one of our clients, a leader in technological innovation for the Legal sector in Spain, developing pioneering solutions in automation, artificial intelligence, and specialized software. We are looking for a talented and creative Machine Learning Engineer to join our team of experts and collaborate in the development of pioneering products that make the daily work of professionals in the legal, fiscal, human resources, and public administration sectors easier.

What will you do on a daily basis:
  1. Be able to identify, analyze, and integrate the state-of-the-art evolutions in artificial intelligence and to improve our stack.
  2. Understand the legal context of our products for lawyers, legal experts, and HRs.
  3. Develop new features and products and help to identify new opportunities.
  4. Interact with AI team manager and AI product manager to understand their expectations in terms of use cases and user experience.
  5. Design and develop ML/DL/NLP prototypes (chatbots, information extraction or enrichment, search and recommendation of legal documents, etc.) in different languages.
  6. Continuously improve the models and the algorithms to maintain them robust, stable, and scalable.
  7. Deploy a whole test environment and improve it on data, test coverage, and reproducibility.
  8. Participate in maintaining and updating coding best practices.
  9. Support production teams to implement and deploy the solutions developed.
Requirements:
  1. 3+ years in Machine Learning with tools like PyTorch, pytest, TensorFlow, Keras, SpaCy, NLTK.
  2. Proven track record of delivered AI projects.
  3. Very good knowledge of ML and Deep Learning or/and very good knowledge of NLP.
  4. Knowledge of artificial neural networks is a plus.
  5. Extensive experience with Python and its ecosystem as Poetry, Pydantic, Mypy, FastAPI…
  6. Expertise in RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) principle.
  7. First experience with LLMs, preferably OpenAI or Gemini, Huggingface, Mistral, Midjourney…
  8. Familiarity with Azure Open AI solution, M365 Copilot is a plus.
  9. Comfortable with MLOps tools.
  10. Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
  11. Comfortable with CI/CD concepts and tools like Git, Docker.
  12. Professional English level.
  13. Experience with Agile Methodologies.
