Job Description

Fluor Plant Engineering is part of Fluor Corporation based in the U.S., a professional and technical solutions provider focusing on Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Maintenance (EPCM) with more than 45,000 employees and 34 offices in 50 different countries worldwide. Fluor offers Project Management and EPCM support in all phases of the project life-cycle based on the following three business groups:

  1. Energy Solutions
  2. Urban Solutions
  3. Mission Solutions

Fluor Plant Engineering office is part of the E&C Energy Solutions Sustaining Capital Projects Business Line.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the regional team (Spain) from Tarragona or Cartagena.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple engineering complexity.
  2. Low and high voltage equipment design and specifications.
  3. Understand and perform single line diagrams and control diagrams.
  4. Design power, lighting and grounding facilities layouts.
  5. Perform work descriptions for construction.
  6. Plant visits and communications management with the clients.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located and be able to interview on site.

Basic Job Requirements:

  1. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and no required previous years of work-related experience (new graduate); a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.
  2. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  3. Engineer-in-Training achievement status accomplished.
  4. Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs.
