Job Summary :
The Continuous Improvement and Risk Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing overall efficiency, and managing risks within our low-cost airline. This role exists to identify, develop, and implement process improvements that reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve customer satisfaction, while also proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks that could impact the airline's performance and safety. By leveraging lean methodologies, data-driven analysis, and risk management best practices, the Continuous Improvement and Risk Manager ensures that our airline continuously evolves to meet the dynamic demands of the aviation industry, ultimately supporting our mission to provide affordable, reliable, and secure air travel in the Dominican Republic.

- The Continuous Improvement and Risk Manager operates in a dynamic, high-pressure environment within a rapidly growing low-cost airline based in the Dominican Republic. With just two years of operation, the airline is in a critical phase of market expansion, striving to balance affordability with operational excellence and safety. This role is pivotal in optimizing operational processes for efficiency while mitigating risks that could impact the airline’s reputation, safety standards, and financial stability.
- This position requires a dual focus: leading process improvement initiatives using lean methodologies to reduce waste and enhance efficiency, while simultaneously managing risks related to operations, compliance, and safety. The role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Finance, to align risk management strategies with business objectives. Additionally, the Continuous Improvement and Risk Manager must ensure adherence to aviation regulations and standards while navigating a fast-paced environment that demands quick, data-driven decision-making.
