Context

Market Pay aims to roll out and extend the usage of its Payment Solutions across all of Europe. Market Pay makes full use of Cloud technologies and relies on a global provider for the DevOps cycle, infrastructure as code design, hosting of its assets, and for the management of its employees' Workspaces.

Market Pay is looking for an IT and DevOps Team Manager to support its growth, manage a team of DevOps across Europe, and manage all aspects of workstations.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive the technical growth of our cloud environments, involving the design, administration, and optimization of all our cloud platforms.
  2. Lead the DevOps expert team across various locations in Europe to deliver on missions.
  3. Support the team in task prioritization and ensure deadlines and budgets are respected.
  4. Design pragmatic, scalable, and optimized solutions in collaboration with Development teams.
  5. Set and manage the budget for the Cloud scope, including Capex and Opex, while monitoring usage to keep costs under control (Fin Ops) and propose optimizations.
  6. Provide excellent technical support for users of the GCP platform and its managed services.
  7. Maintain and improve the company’s technical infrastructure, focusing on the workstation environment based on Google Suite.

Training and Background

With a Master's degree in computer science or engineering (Bac +5), you've held similar positions and enjoy keeping up to date on Cloud and DevOps topics.

  2. Very good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  3. Very good knowledge of Google Workspace
  4. Mastery of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
  5. Knowledge of CI/CD oriented development chains - DevOps
  6. Knowledge of Big Data, SQL, NoSQL
  7. Optimization of platform usage costs according to the company's financial stakes
  8. Support for internal and external development teams on processes and tools
  9. Creation and maintenance of operating documentation
  10. Fluent English
