Desde ERM buscamos un Biodiversity & Due Diligence Environmental Consultant. Este puesto se centrará en biodiversity impact assessments y due diligence projects. El puesto implicará trabajar con otros ecologistas y directores de proyectos en los sectores de energías renovables, recursos, planificación, gobierno y contabilidad de capital natural en Europa y África.

Tendrás experiencia en evaluación ambiental y mostrarás interés en aplicar conocimientos y habilidades para ayudar a nuestros clientes a resolver los desafíos en estos sectores. Serás miembro de un equipo multidisciplinario de evaluación de impacto en Iberia y de un amplio equipo de expertos ambientales y sociales globales.

El puesto tendrá su base en Madrid o Barcelona, con viajes frecuentes dentro y fuera de Europa.

Responsabilidades
  • Realizar estudios de biodiversidad, organizar información y analizar situaciones complejas.
  • Apoyar la preparación de evaluaciones de biodiversidad para EIA, ESDD, Planes de Acción de Biodiversidad (y otros estudios ambientales) y planes de gestión asociados de conformidad con los requisitos locales y regionales aplicables.
  • Desarrollar análisis en proyectos de Due Diligence de acuerdo con estándares internacionales, como International Finance Corporate (IFC) y Principios del Ecuador.
  • Realizar actividades de entrega de proyectos que incluyen, entre otras, estudios de campo, revisiones de literatura, redacción de informes y desarrollo de recomendaciones para clientes.
  • Trabajar en múltiples proyectos dentro de las expectativas de alcance/presupuesto/cronograma y garantizar estándares de calidad en los entregables del proyecto y la entrega oportuna de informes.
  • Comunicarse con subcontratistas, agentes reguladores, propietarios de tierras y clientes durante las actividades de campo, según sea necesario.
  • Construir sólidas relaciones de colaboración con otros empleados de ERM en todo el mundo.
Requisitos Mínimos
  • Licenciatura en Ciencias Biológicas o campo relacionado.
  • Idealmente, 2 años de experiencia en evaluación ecológica, recopilación de datos (campo y laboratorio), análisis y presentación de informes de EIA, ESDD.
  • Se desea experiencia previa en Medio Ambiente, Biodiversidad y Servicios Ecosistémicos, en los sectores de energías renovables, hidrógeno verde, infraestructura, industrias extractivas (en tierra y/o en alta mar) y áreas industriales.
  • Debido a la naturaleza de los proyectos, se requiere fluidez en inglés; el conocimiento de español y francés también sería una ventaja.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma segura al aire libre en condiciones climáticas variables y en terrenos difíciles.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, organización y gestión del tiempo.
