At Ad4Octógono we are looking for a Windows Administrator full remote with 3 years of experience.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Windows Administration & Support:
  2. Ensure the availability of infrastructure to meet SLAs for systems and applications.
  3. Contribute to managing risks by addressing obsolescence, vulnerabilities, and patching.
  4. Troubleshoot low-level issues and implement solutions effectively.
  5. Deliver projects and changes within agreed deadlines.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement:
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
  8. Communicate complex changes and ensure their impacts are understood.
  9. Continuous Improvement:
  10. Analyze changes and assess their impact on system availability.
  11. Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, or other automation tools.

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

  1. Experience: Minimum 3 years in Windows Server administration and support.
  2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
  3. Technical Expertise:
  4. In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and application support.
  5. Experience in security hardening, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  6. Soft Skills:
  7. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  8. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  9. Experience in regulated environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

  1. Knowledge of IIS, BizTalk, .Net Framework, PowerShell, IBM MQ, Host Integration Service (HIS), and SQL Server.
  2. Familiarity with ServiceNow and Santander change/incident processes.
  3. Expertise in automation tools such as PowerShell and Ansible.
  4. Ability to understand and assess complex changes.
