The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting business application solutions across the organization, with a strong focus on SAP ABAP technologies. This role will require collaboration with functional and business teams to optimize processes and provide technical support, ensuring efficient system performance and alignment with business objectives.
Work Setup: Morning Shift; Full-Time; Hybrid (once a week Ortigas office); Up to 120k commensurate experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of activities including technical design, some technical configuration, technical specification writing, technical unit testing aligns with the test script, ongoing maintenance/support and enhancements.
- Assume responsibilities including designing strategic technical approaches to improve and optimize each program/enhancement in the system and making business process improvements.
- Work with Business/Functional counterparts to understand their requirements and their incidents/questions to give them timely technical support.
- Utilize proper technical documentation; this position will allow the successful candidate to work with other consultants, build on their background, and contribute to practice successes.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in Design, Architecture Review, Testing and Software Development Life Cycle in ECC and S/4 Environment.
- At least 4 full cycle implementations on SAP Development involving cross Functional Modules.
- Strong experience in ABAP on S/4 HANA environment, AMDP, code push down techniques, CDS views, Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF), backend Data services and SAP Gateway Services.
- Form Development experience in Adobe Forms / PDF Form development, SAP-Script, Smartforms.
- Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework – User exits, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
- Module pool programming experience using custom controls (ALV/Tree/Image), OLE embedding, etc.
- Experience in developing data migration programs, LSMW scripts (BDC, BAPI, IDOC, Direct/Batch Input) and GUIXT scripts, LTMC tool.
- Expertise in report programming using ALV, classical, drill down and interactive using ALV events.
- Experience in code optimization, performance tuning and runtime analysis.
- Expertise in using Code Inspector, Single Transaction Analysis, SQL Performance Trace, Runtime Analysis tools.
- Experience in developing applications using object-oriented programming techniques.
- Experience with REST (ABAP Restful programming) based services, and API design.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Flexible, easily adaptable to change, and effectively handle a very fast-paced environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Ability to work and contribute to a team in a diverse/multiple environment.
