Freight Forwarder Rotterdam

We are looking for a skilled Operations Expediter to join our team with the ability to manage outbound/inbound shipments, documentation, and transportation. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can think on their feet and resolve any issues that come up with our customer-first business mentality. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who is extremely organized, agile, and willing to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in an efficient manner.

• Monitoring the daily coordination of import and export shipments (Sea, Air, Train, Road).
  
• Preparing bill of lading documentation and customs clearance procedures.
  
• Keeping customers updated on booking schedules, container loadings, and any occurring delays and deviations.
  
• Collaborating with our international team members, vendors, and agents to ensure the smooth execution of each shipment.

• At least 2 years of work experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or for an NVOCC.
  
• Strong verbal and written skills in English (Dutch, German, French or Spanish is a plus).
  
• High proficiency with office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
  
• Solution and quality-oriented mindset.
  
• Ability to multitask, manage time, prioritize and work under pressure.
  
• Embodies strong organizational and communication skills
  
• Ability to maintain an autonomous, optimistic, approachable, and hands-on mentality
  
• Candidate must be based in Europe.
