Cognita is looking to appoint a full time Secondary English Teacher (possible Head of Modern Foreign Languages Faculty for the right candidate) for one of its schools in Madrid from 28th August 2024.

The role
The ideal candidate should hold a teaching qualification (a degree in English Philology or a similar field with a Master's in Education or an equivalent international qualification recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education) and have experience teaching at a secondary school (at least 2 years of experience is preferred). Experience teaching other languages such as French and German, and preparing Cambridge English exams would be highly valued by the school. Continuous training will be provided, as well as support for developing teaching skills in post-16 education.

Contract: Full time and permanent with remuneration and working conditions that reflect the Spanish national collective bargaining agreement for private education.
