ABB's Electrification business for Smart Buildings offers a wide-ranging portfolio of products, digital solutions, and services, from the power distribution board to the socket, enabling safe, smart, and sustainable electrification. Offerings encompass digital and connected innovations for power protection, wiring accessories, switchgear, enclosures, cabling, sensing, and control.
You will play a key support role for the Global Sales Support team, developing and executing commercial processes, organizing and supporting feeder factory visits, and providing business continuity support according to dedicated processes on a global basis. Your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in bringing efficient and effective support to customers.

Your responsibilities
  • Supporting your sales colleagues to determine the optimal and most cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Following formal commercial and technical support processes with clear communication of documents and information.
  • Planning customer visits to the production plant and hosting the group during the stay for the event.
  • Providing support and input in meetings, presentations, and process developments.
  • Analyzing customer and local sales units' needs and proactively finding solutions by extraordinary out-of-box thinking.
  • Taking the lead in the customization of products and implementation.
  • Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, business administration or marketing.
  • More than two years of experience in sales-related duties, working in sales or sales support functions with technical products.
  • Sound knowledge of commercial processes and if applicable in the electrical market.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and MS Office 365.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new products, tools, processes, and strategies.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication and superior behavioral skills.
