In AXA's journey "from Payer to Partner," Data plays a crucial role, propelling the company toward becoming truly Data-Driven. The AXA Partners Data Strategy revolves around 6 pillars: Enable Business initiatives, Protect Data, Organize and Govern initiatives, Manage Data, Empower People on Data, and Deliver and operate Data Platforms.

As a part of the larger Data Partners community, you will be a vital contributor to the Data Analysts Network, engaging in activities such as defining, improving, documenting, and disseminating guidelines, procedures, and standards for Data Analytics across AXA Partners. Your role extends to coaching and training Data teams in Power BI and Tabular Model, becoming the go-to expert on Power BI topics, supporting the establishment of decentralized enterprise BI, and contributing to the development of advanced production analytical systems.

You will also connect with the community involved in Data valorization, fostering its growth and vibrancy, all while embodying a robust team spirit and offering assistance to others when needed.

At AXA Partners we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. This role will be based in Barcelona, with at least 2 days per week at the local office.

Key Responsabilities

  • Develop and communicate clear guidelines and best practices for data warehousing, datamarts modeling, cubes, reporting, and dashboarding, emphasizing the use of technologies like AAS, DAX, PBI, etc.
  • Create comprehensive training materials for both advanced and beginner users, contributing to the overall enhancement of analytics maturity across AXA Partners.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations, particularly through Guild sessions, showcasing advanced use-cases.
  • Facilitate the adoption of technologies, processes, and best practices within Data teams.
  • Act as a member of the "ad hoc experts," providing timely interventions for data teams in their analytics project development, deployment, and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide ongoing support to Data teams, assisting with their daily activities and addressing challenges.
  • Play a pivotal role in scrum ceremonies, collaborating with other data team members to ensure adherence to scrum principles and pillars.

Your Profile

Must have

  • Fluent in Power BI PREMIUM.
  • Strong grasp of business intelligence theory, including dimensional modeling, databases, data warehousing, datamarts, and cubes.
  • Expert in data visualization, reporting, and dashboarding.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Understanding of the software development process, with knowledge in Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps as a plus.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and additional knowledge in Azure Cloud Datalake, Databricks, Spark, or NoSQL DB is advantageous.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to translate business requirements into advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, team player with problem-solving skills, and a can-do spirit.
  • Customer-centric, agile-minded, and comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment, with a high willingness to share, teach, and advise.
