Scopely is hiring an Art Director to join the Monopoly GO team in Sevilla on a hybrid basis.

What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the Senior Art Director to ensure creative materials align with the game vision and uphold high quality standards
- Support the brand with innovative designs and distinctive experiences
- Lead brainstorming sessions to discover creative solutions and directions with the art team
- Provide clear art direction for various features by working closely with different art disciplines
- Cultivate an art culture that fosters talent, maximizes team potential, and promotes collaboration for an outstanding player experience
- Responsibilities include managing the art team's performance, conducting reviews, and setting goals
- Contribute to studio planning and work with the art producer to drive the team's production process
- Oversee the art team's well-being, morale, training, and resource needs
- Identify areas of improvement in the creative process and lead inter-departmental communications related to art
- Bring fresh vision and creativity while maintaining a cohesive design approach
What We're Looking For
- Promote collaboration across various art disciplines such as 2D, UI, 3D, Animation, and VFX
- Experience in leading a large group of artists
- Previous experience as an Art Lead or Associate AD for at least one title
- Background in developing social games on mobile platforms, preferably in the casual genre
- Demonstrate an art style that reflects a deep understanding of whimsical design
- Proficient at giving clear direction, guidance, and mentoring across all art disciplines
- Attention to detail and expert judgment in art elements such as form, color, style, and composition
- Flexible, motivated, and approachable individual with a strong understanding of game art's role in gameplay and branding
- Familiarity with game pipelines and ability to communicate the artistic vision effectively
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in Art Lead or Associate AD role

- Knowledge of Unity
