Team and role purpose

We are looking for an Architecture Governance Specialist for EPTO. EPTO covers enabling technology capabilities for the organisation such as Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Integration, Information Management and Sales technology.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture and working with Enterprise System, Data and Integration Architects, the Architecture Governance Specialist will help ensure that planned changes to the Enterprise IT landscape are aligned to the future Enterprise IT architecture vision, and that individual solutions are architecturally sound.

You will

Build positive working relationships with partners involved in changes to the Enterprise IT environmentMaintain a forward view of project demand for architecture advice and governanceChair pre-governance review meetings between projects and Enterprise Architects to help guide solution designs and important design decisions, following the Enterprise IT architecture vision and StandardsChair architecture governance meetings, such as the Technical Design Authority, to formally approve solution designs and important design decisionsCommunicate the highlight results/ outcomes from architecture governance forums to the wider partner communityEnsure that main architecture artefacts such as the Architecture Vision, Landscape Views, Roadmaps, Standards and Principles are maintainedEnsure that main architecture artefacts are utilised and improved following changes to the business and technology environmentQualifications5+ years experience with Architecture Governance working for multinational companies
• Experience of governing architecture designs and important design decisionsCross-functional Partner collaboration, team-working and communication experienceAnalytical, organizational, time and modelling skillsExperience using and developing Enterprise and Solution Architecture artefacts and frameworks (Principles, Policies, Reference Architectures, Patterns)Experience using EA Tooling to model the Enterprise IT architecture
