About you

You are an experienced leader with a strong technical background in AI, adept at managing and inspiring teams, and hands-on enough to tackle coding tasks yourself. In this role, you will lead and actively contribute to pioneering AI projects, exemplifying the spirit of a hands-on leader who not only oversees but also directly imagines, defines, and develops AI solutions.

You should possess a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by language and speech models (LLMs, MT, STT, TTS, etc.), and have a passion for leveraging their potential in comprehensive solutions. Your recent experience in developing and fine-tuning language models will be crucial. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated to explore and extend the capabilities of AI technologies in practical applications.



Responsibilities:

Lead and nurture the AI Team, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can bring their full and authentic self to work, optimizing their productivity and satisfaction.Mentor team members at various stages of their careers, aiding them in developing the skills necessary to meet their professional goals and align with business needs.Provide constructive feedback to direct reports to enhance their performance and promote a culture of high morale across the organization through exemplary behavior.Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-quality AI solutions.Actively contribute to coding and development tasks, setting a high standard of technical excellence.Engage in ongoing research to remain at the forefront of new technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative ideas and insights back to the team to propel innovation.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, converting these into technical requirements and actionable solutions.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in a leadership role with a strong technical background in AI and machine learning.Hands-on experience in AI technologies and software development, with a portfolio of relevant projects.Excellent management skills, with a knack for solving complex problems.Demonstrated ability to lead a team while contributing technically to projects.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.Proficiency in Python.Experience with real-time and large-scale AI solutions.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and understanding of scalable AI architectures.
What's nice to have:
Familiarity with .NET Core (C#) or Frontend frameworks
For this position, you must be a holder of a valid working permit for Spain.
